Many great things I found out from TED, but none amazed and moved me like this one. Dean Kamen previews an extraordinary prosthetic arm. This is great news for so many people. I hope it will be affordable for the ones that need it.

Just what I needed to see. I’m a 50 yr old male living 21 of them HIV . I went out on disability due to some drug side effects and I’ve been attending school for 3 years now. At first I studied computer programming, but after two years I realized that despite the money, I wasn’t going to be happy…so after some thought I realized (i went to art school and later studied mech. engineering) that I really like drafting and I could help people by working on prosthetics with a payback that far outreachs any money. I just was looking around the web on local prosthetic firms and stumbeled on this site, it is so reaffirming! Thanks
