Last weekend, by God’s grace, after I was invited by Daniel Moisuc, I went for a 2 days trip to Dorohoi, with the youth from the 1st Christian Baptist Church of Iasi. Dorohoi is in Botosani county. I was born and raised in Botosani, so I was closer to home.
We were invited by the some of the students that attend the 1st Christian Baptist Church of Iasi, and that came from Dorohoi. We were around 30 persons and we had a great time. Even if it took us 6 hours to get to Dorohoi and it was tiring, I think that it was worth it.
On Sunday morning we went to the Christian Baptist Church of Dorohoi. We had some songs and Bible verses. In the evening we went to the Christian Baptist Church of Dorohoi, where we also had a program of our own.
Here are the photos I took on this trip. They will talk much better that I would
On Wenesday, 12 November 2008, I was featured on Photographers Club of Iasi Blog. I didn’t know about it. A few moments ago I went on that blog to see what is new, and I also saw my photo. Here it is.
That is a fery old ploto. Old means 7 years. I did it with a Creative WebCam. It had this feature to take 1 Mpx photos, 30 of them. It had no display, just a viewfinder and the option to delete, format and other few.
The bellow photo was taken in Bulgaria, at a gas station. There was an abandoned house near by. So, while the car was getting refiled I got the chance to capture this.

Here’s a self portrait I did in June, while I was in Macedonia. The photo was taken while I was on a boat on lake Ohrid. That is why the horizon is tilted.

Previously I showed you photos from Bogdan and Catalina’s civil marriage and the church marriage. It was a very busy day because in the same day also Bogdan’s brother, Ben, had his wedding. Besides that, all the events (civil marriage, church wedding and the party) happened in 1 day, in 12 hours. Even if it was so busy we managed to go in the Copou Park, from Iasi, for 30 minutes.
It was very stressful for the grooms and their brides to have all those things in 12 hours. Here’s the result of the very short walk in the park.

On Saturday, 25th of October 2008. at 1st Christian Baptist Church of Iasi was held a classical and traditional jewish music concert. This was done with the help pf Crescendo musical foundation and the baptist church.
The main performer was Pascal Salomon. He is piano player and music professor at the Geneva Academy of Music. There were also another musicians performing:
I really enjoyed it. I liked the the 6 preludes by G. Gershwin because I found some jazz in there (my favorite).
Bellow is a sideshow with the photos I took at this event. If you would like to have any of it please contact me.

Here’s the program of the event

2 days ago I shared with you the beautiful moments that Bogdan and Catalina went through on their civil marriage. Now it the time for you to see more of their happy moments. Here are a few more wedding photos. This time, the photos are from their wedding ceremonial at 3rd Christian Baptist Church “Saint Trinity” of Iasi, where Bogdan and Catalina said YES for their whole life, they said that will love and cherish each other for their whole life.

In an evening I got a phone call from an old friend. He asks me if I could come and sing in the choir from the church he goes to, here in Iasi. He’s wedding had to be the next Sunday. I accepted. Then he asks me if I could also help them with the photos for their wedding. In the end from the 2 things I ended photographing because there was nobody to help him with this, but with the singing there were plenty.
Here’s the photos I took at the civil marriage. Pretty soon, I’ll post also the photos from the church, party and a short photo shooting in the park.

The other day, together with Denisa, we took an hour off and went to the bottom part of the Botanical Gardens of Iasi. It is really near by. I’ve been staying in this area for some time now, and I’ve never taken advantage of this.
I had to clear my mind to be productive at my work. This walk really helped me.
Here are a few photos we took, using the tripod.
