In my previous post (ESC Conference - Return of the ASIC Corporate Brochure) I wrote about the brochure I created for the launch of my company new marketing campaign - the Return of the ASIC. We launched it at CMP Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valey that took place on 14-18 of April 2008, in San Jose, CA, USA.
At this conference we had a booth. Besides the brochure that I designed for this event, I also designed the entire booth. For the walls of the booth I designed 3 posters with the logos of our colaborators with the space theme in the background, 1 main huge poster that you can see below and another 1 poster with our logo on the space theme that was used as a skirt for the table we had in the booth. On the table we had some demos with our chip and some potential products.
A while ago, the management of my company decided to attend the CMP Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valey that took place on 14-18 of April 2008, in San Jose, CA, USA. This was a great oportunity to launch our campaign - the Return of the ASIC. One of the tools we used, and I created, is the corporate brochure of this post - ESC Conference - Return of the ASIC brochure.
Bellow are some of the corporate home page flash banners I did in the last year. They were part of different promotions or launches my company had. Feel free to comment on any of these.
Some time ago I designed a brochure for StyroStone Romania. The same contact asked me if I could create the identity for a company that imports, sells and sets steel roof tile. The name of the company is Petriuc. It is from Suceava district, but they also work in other areas of Romania. They are a good company of trustworthy people
After the fist meetings with them we finalized the tag-line - quality matters. In Romania, but not only, quality is an issue, because most companies are interested in making as much money in the first time, and they are not interested about the future. After I studied how this company works I decided on the tag-line and proposed it to them.
I had a several ideas for the design of the logo. But in the end, with the help of a good friend of mine, I choose this one. The contact from Petriuc was very happy with my choice.
Another company enlists on my list of happy customers.
Between many projects in progress, one is more dear to me. It is the new Customer Newsletter I have to design. For now I create the template of the newsletter. Soon, I will be provided with the text to go with it. The customer newsletter is a powerful marketing tool. You draw all that customers, they are happy with your products. But, in time, if you do not remind them about you they end up forgetting your name. In the same time, do not send to many newsletters to your customers, because they’ll feel attacked. Once a month is enough to bother them.

For my project Program to Stimulate Sales at Snowy I did 2 designs for the snowboards Back (freeride) and Exo (freestyle)

For this project I also did the Snowy logo, Snowy cap/hat, Snowy t-shirts.

2 weeks ago I ordered On Brand by Wally Olins from Comunicare.ro publishing house. I got the book in a few days.
The author knows what he’s talking about. Besides that, I like his writing style. It also helped me with the project I have for my MBA (Program to Stimulate Sales at Snowy). I did not finish the book yet, but it already helped me to understand mor what is the relation between the employee and the company brand. My brain works by examples. And this book is tailored for me.
