Not long ago the company I work for asked me to create a poster that will give a unique goal to the entire company, to every employee, something similar with a creed. We came up with the Quality Policy poster. This is the final version this poster. It is 1 meter in width.

ESC Conference – Return of the ASIC – Corporate Main Huge Poster for the Conference Booth Daily Job, Graphic Design, Marketing, My Work | (0)
In my previous post (ESC Conference – Return of the ASIC Corporate Brochure) I wrote about the brochure I created for the launch of my company new marketing campaign – the Return of the ASIC. We launched it at CMP Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valey that took place on 14-18 of April 2008, in San Jose, CA, USA.

At this conference we had a booth. Besides the brochure that I designed for this event, I also designed the entire booth. For the walls of the booth I designed 3 posters with the logos of our colaborators with the space theme in the background, 1 main huge poster that you can see below and another 1 poster with our logo on the space theme that was used as a skirt for the table we had in the booth. On the table we had some demos with our chip and some potential products.

A while ago, the management of my company decided to attend the CMP Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valey that took place on 14-18 of April 2008, in San Jose, CA, USA. This was a great oportunity to launch our campaign – the Return of the ASIC. One of the tools we used, and I created, is the corporate brochure of this post – ESC Conference – Return of the ASIC brochure.

I Was in USA for 2 Weeks at the Company Headquarters Daily Job, Traveling | (0)
I was away for the last 2 weeks. Today I came back in Romania. I am not back at home yet. But tomorrow I’ll be in Iasi. I am so tired and I look forward for a hot shower and my bed.

I miss all that I had to leave here, my family and Denisa. Even if there was all this distance between us, I know they’ve been cloe in prayer.

Those 2 weeks were so tireing but in the same time they were efficient. From this point of view I am happy I went to USA. Another good thing is that I med my work coleagues. I saw who is on the other side of the line. And more than that we had a great time together.

The fact that I saw this new culture for me, really broaded my view. The thing that I liked best was the food diversity. I tried different cuisines. Indian recipies were my favourite. But my body does not prove with me. I am not used with all those recipies and ingredients. And also it wasn’t that natural I suppose.

The next 2 weeks will be very bussy. I hope to put some photos online, but I cn not promise it.

As I promised you yesterday, here it is the version for print of the email invite for customers to attend the USA Seminar. Usually I design first the printed materials and the the ones for web. But due the fact that the email had to be send first I had to do it in this way. I like to flexible in my designs. I like to design flayers, but more than this I like the corporative identities.

Graphic Design – ARM Developers Conference – Flayer Daily Job, Graphic Design, My Work | (7)
Recently I created the design of the posters that the company I work for will use at ARM Developersâ€™ Conference. Because the posters had to be printed by the conference organizers, I had to give them the version for print a few weeks prior to the conference.

We, the marketing team, thought that a flyer with a promise would attract more people to our booth. Besides that we hope that the word of mouth to work. The board will be won, after they subscribe the contest and leave us their contact info.

So, today I created two versions of the flyer. Have a look bellow and please let me know which one you like best .

5 Best Key Points of a Marketing Graphic Designer Daily Job, Freelance, Graphic Design, Marketing, My Work | (7)
As a graphic designer, in Iasi – Romania, in the marketing team, there are quite a few things that I have to understand so I can make my job right. Also from my freelance experience and from what I learned from other people here are the 5 best key points of a marketing graphic designer:
1. Think about who is the final consumer of the product that you are creating. What sort of people will read the brochure, flier or other piece of publicity you create and buy the product(s) or services that you promote? A clear description of your target audience will help you gauge what sort of feel your design should have. The look of your design should always reflect the preferences of the customer, not your own preferences or the preferences of your team mates or your customer (if you are a freelancer).
2. The message without emotions is like milk without the bottle. The message you are trying to send is sustained by the emotions you create within the final customer. What emotions should you convey? What specific things should you draw the reader’s attention to? Read your client’s copy carefully. Use the message of the copy, especially the headlines, to inspire the message of your design.
3. The message has to be reinforced by your design. Is your design consistent with the messages in the copy? Can you increase the impact of the copy message in your design approach? If you’re designing a brochure for some computer software, and the dominant marketing message seems to be that the software is "easy to use", your design should reflect clarity and freedom, maybe with lots of white space and clear copy sections. In short, don’t rely on your client to brief you properly on what the design should achieve. Take the initiative to work it out yourself.
4. Emphasize the benefits of the product. Demonstrate how good the product is through your choice of visual. Show how the product makes a real difference to people’s lives. Reread through the copy and make a note of all examples of what the product does for the user. Then think about how you can demonstrate people benefiting from the product in your graphics and choices of photos.
5. Represent visually the product or a concept of the service. Show people using the product/service. Show happy customers. Publicity that shows people is proven to be the most successful at driving sales. Good publicity should encourage readers to imagine themselves using the product to show people of the same demographic using the product! Get as many pictures of the product as possible, and work these pictures into your design.
