07.26.07The History of Blessing - new book graphic design
For some time now, I started a new project. I have to- create the general layout and feel of the book,
- choose the fonts to match the feel of the entire book,
- design the graphics,
- arrange the text and everything else that a book involves except:
- to create the text (of coarse I am not the author… DănuÅ£ Mănăstireanu is the author)
- to print the book; I do not know where it will be printed and when.
The name of this Christian book/manual, that I have to design, is The History of Blessing (Istoria Binecuvântării) by Dănuţ Mănăstireanu.
Because I was so busy with my MBA and my daily job, I had no time for this book. But now the MBA is finished and until I start the doctorate it wakes some time. So, this is the perfect thing to do in my free time.

07.24.07Trust in the Lord
It’s been quite some time since I haven’t wrote anything on my blog. Indeed I’ve been busy, but this is not an excuse for you. As you already know I finished my MBA with God’s help. Now, I am supposed to have more free time, but this isn’t necessary so.
This morning God toughed me a few lessons and encouraged me. In the same time told me to share it with you.
I am in tricky situation now. I mean that I am thinking about my future, about where and what I shall be doing in 1 year, or 2 years time. There could be so many possibilities. In the same time, I tend to worry regarding the financial domain of my life. I was thinking about putting something in a safe place, so I would be able to have all I need at certain time.
In all this situation I was told that…
Take care! Protect yourself against the least bit of greed. Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot.
It happened to me before to worry about those things. But, to tell you the truth I am really blessed with my current situation. There are so many people what do not have what to eat, and have no roof over their head. Yes, it is also true that I do not have my roof over my head, but I have to stay with rent in someone else’s apartment.

13Someone out of the crowd said, “Teacher, order my brother to give me a fair share of the family inheritance.”
14He replied, “Mister, what makes you think it’s any of my business to be a judge or mediator for you?”
15Speaking to the people, he went on, “Take care! Protect yourself against the least bit of greed. Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot.”
16-19Then he told them this story: “The farm of a certain rich man produced a terrific crop. He talked to himself: ‘What can I do? My barn isn’t big enough for this harvest.’ Then he said, ‘Here’s what I’ll do: I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll gather in all my grain and goods, and I’ll say to myself, Self, you’ve done well! You’ve got it made and can now retire. Take it easy and have the time of your life!’
20“Just then God showed up and said, ‘Fool! Tonight you die. And your barnful of goods—who gets it?’
21“That’s what happens when you fill your barn with Self and not with God.”22-24He continued this subject with his disciples. “Don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or if the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your inner life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the ravens, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, carefree in the care of God. And you count far more.25-28“Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? If fussing can’t even do that, why fuss at all? Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don’t fuss with their appearance—but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?
29-32“What I’m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don’t be afraid of missing out. You’re my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself.
33-34“Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can’t go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bankrobbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.

07.16.07Showroom layout design - Dealing with perception in the marketing of a new product - Snowy snowboards - Marketing Management MBA
I want to share with you the Showroom layout/plan that I researched for and created for my MBA thesis on Dealing with perception in the marketing of a new product - Snowy snowboards - Marketing Management MBA
You can see that there are some light blue and light pink zones. Those are the areas where every employee has to cover. Blue is for a male employee and light pink for a female. I studied to see where it’s best suited to put each employee, depending on gender and skill. It is not discrimination, it is about what each one is best suited for.
When someone enters the shop/showroom it is greeted by one of the two employees from the door. The customers is invited in and asked if she deserves a drink or to sit down while together with the sales person, they choose to see what the customers really needs, what best suites the consumer.

I managed to finish all my preparations to present my MBA project in front of the teachers board. The name of my project is Dealing with perception in the marketing of a new product at Snowy snowboards . The teachers liked very much my thesis, and how I presented everything. With God’s blessing, I got an A++ with congratulations . I was honored to receive such appreciation. My supervisor teacher was prof. dr. ec. Rodica Boier. It was hard work involved not only in preparation of the thesis, but also during the whole university year. With God’s help, I put all my energy in every project I did for every subject/matter/object I studied. This MBA program really helped me, and I had what to learn from every teachers we had. It wasn’t perfect. Nothing on this earth is. But, it was what I expected, and I think that it was a good investment for my future, the money were spent in a good way. From now on, I hope that I will be given the opportunity to show what I have studied, what I know and can now, after all this training.

APPROACH
- Theoretically approaching the problem statement;
- Research, analyze and understand Snowy inside sales trend;
- Research, measure and understand the market regarding:
- age segmenting of the consumers,
- aiming for the most important quarter,
- gender segmenting of the consumers chosen quarter,
- repositioning Snowy with introducing a new department exactly designer for the new segment,
- differentiating Snowy’s new department from the competition;
- Prototype concept construction based on the above:
- design innovative new products exactly suited based on the differentiated process,

- Develop application programs to deal with the perception of the new family products and stimulate the sales:

- Understood where Snowy stands in the snowboarding industry;
- Improved Snowy’s position on the market;
- Seized more market share;
- Developed new innovative family products based on marketing and technical research;
- Improving perception over Snowy’s brand;
- Optimized of the work flow of the whole company;
- Increased the perception of the market over the new family products
- Stimulated the sales.
CONCLUSIONS
- Applied the new global marketing developments in Snowy;
- Discovered new ways Snowy could acquire large share of the market;
- Developed new product families and the associated services;
- Dealt with perception in the marketing of the new product families;
- Stimulated the sales.
